Product Description
The Tangāli Ottoman was designed to be used with the Tangāli Comfort Chair, but can also be used independently as a stool or a footrest. It features the signature Tangāli cane weave and comes with a loose cushion on top.
The padded cushion for the Ottoman—like the one for the Tangāli Comfort Chair—is stuffed with foam and wadding. The default colour for the cushion is the light cream ‘Andaman Moonbeam’, but it can also be ordered in any other colour from the cotton-linen blended Andaman fabric family or in COM (Customer’s Own Material).

We offer this product in a choice of two wood finishes: Natural Teak and Dark Stain.
The Natural Teak finish provides the clearest expressions of the timber’s character, while the Dark Stain finish—custom-developed by Phantom Hands—gives the wood a deeper, richer tone while preserving the clarity of the grain.
In both finishes, the stain is applied after hand-sanding with progressively finer grits of sandpaper. The Natural Teak is finished with a hard wax oil that brings out the natural, golden-brown colour of the teak. The Dark Stain is finished with a three-coat application of compatibility-tested hydro-oil.
The Tangāli cane weave, specially developed by INODA+SVEJE for this collection, is a unique weave with double strands of cane wrapped around the edges of the wooden frame of the products.
The default colour for the cushion is the light cream ‘Andaman Moonbeam’, but it can also be ordered in any other colour from the cotton-linen blended Andaman fabric family, as seen in the swatches below, or in COM (Customer’s Own Material).
