Product Description
The Tangāli Comfort Chair, as its name suggests, is a comfortable lounge chair that comes with soft, padded cushions for the back and seat. Related to the Tangāli Modular Chair in its form, the Tangāli Comfort Chair is wider and roomier. In the words of INODA+SVEJE, “The Modular Chair is more of conversation seating or social seating, to sit with friends and have a drink. The Comfort Chair is a real lounge chair on which you can sit back and relax, with an Ottoman to go with it”.
The default colour for the cushions is the light cream ‘Andaman Moon Beam’, but it can also be ordered in any of the colours from the cotton-linen blended Andaman fabric family or in COM (Customer’s Own Material).

Product Options
We offer this product in a choice of two wood finishes: Natural Teak and Dark Stain.
The Natural Teak finish provides the clearest expressions of the timber’s character, while the Dark Stain finish gives the wood a deeper, richer tone while preserving the clarity of the grain.
Both finishes first undergo hand-sanding with progressively finer grits of sandpaper. The Natural Teak is finished with a hard wax oil that brings out the natural, golden-brown colour of the teak. The Dark Stain, after the application of a stain custom-developed by Phantom Hands, is finished with a three-coat application of compatibility-tested hydro-oil.
The Tangāli cane weave pattern, specially developed by INODA+SVEJE for this collection, is a special weave with double strands of cane wrapped around the edges of the wooden frame of the products.
The cushions for the Comfort Chair are made with hand-spun cotton fabrics. The default fabric is the light cream ‘Andaman Moon Beam’, but the cushions can also be ordered in the selection of colours from the 100% cotton-linen Andaman fabric family, seen below.
