Product Description
INODA+SVEJE created the Tangāli Dining Chair with the intention of making a big and spacious dining chair. It comes in two variants—with arms and without—and can be used as a dining chair or as a desk chair at a study table. Its curved backrest makes it comfortable to sit on for long periods of time.
The core of the chair is made of teak and cane and features the signature Tangāli cane weave, specially developed by INODA+SVEJE for this collection. Special seat cushions have been designed to fit the frame of the chair, with cut-outs for the arms and the back, and can be purchased optionally.
Loose cushions can optionally be added to the Tangāli Dining Armchair for seating comfort and protection of the woven cane. The default colour for the cushion is the light cream 'Andaman Moon Beam', but it can also be ordered in any other colour from the cotton-linen blended Andaman fabric family.

We offer this product in a choice of two wood finishes: Natural Teak and Dark Stain.
For the Natural Teak finish, the wood is sanded and finished with hard wax oil to bring out the natural, golden-brown colour of the teak.
For the Dark Stain finish, a coat of water-based, teak stain is applied to give the wood a darker teak shade, followed by a coat of a sealer.
The Tangāli cane weave, specially developed by INODA+SVEJE for this collection, is a unique weave with double strands of cane wrapped around the edges of the wooden frame of the products.
