Product Description
This is a re-edition of the Easy Armchair: the comfortable lounge chair with signature ‘compass’ legs, originally designed for offices and residences in Chandigarh and Ahmedabad. Our re-edition is handcrafted using materials and techniques similar to the ones used in the 1950s. The cane seat and back are made of natural rattan cane, peeled and woven meticulously by hand. Structural enhancements have been made to make the chair robust for contemporary usage.

Product Options
We offer this piece in thee finishes: Natural Teak, Dark Stain, and Black Finish.
All three finishes begin with hand-sanding the wood with progressively finer grits of sandpaper. The Natural Teak is then finished with a hard wax oil that brings out the wood’s golden-brown colour. The Dark Stain, post sanding, receives a waterborne stain, followed by three coats of compatibility-tested hydro-oil.
In the Black finish, the wood is sprayed with an eco-friendly, waterborne paint, followed by a waterborne top-coat sealant that leaves the grains and patterns visible.
Please note that each batch of teak is unique and actual shade may vary from the reference images.
