Product Description
The Tangāli Bench (Compact) has a length of 140cm and was prototyped by INODA+SVEJE at our workshop in September 2023, as a variant to the standard '180 cm' version which was designed in 2018. The compact version was a response to frequent customer requests for a smaller version that could be placed at the end of a standard queen sized bed.
Optional seating cushions can be added to the bench to place over the woven cane areas. The default colour for the bolster is the light cream 'Andaman Moonbeam', but it can also be ordered in any of the colours from the cotton-linen blended Andaman fabric family or in COM fabric.
The Tangāli Bench is available in a regular size in addition to this compact size.

Product Options
We offer this product in a choice of two wood finishes: Natural Teak and Dark Stain.
For the Natural Teak finish, the wood is sanded and finished with hard wax oil to bring out the natural, golden-brown colour of the teak.
For the Dark Stain finish, a coat of water-based teak stain is applied to give the wood a darker teak shade, followed by a coat of sealer.
The Tangāli cane weave pattern, specially developed by INODA+SVEJE for this collection, is a special weave with double strands of cane wrapped around the edges of the wooden frame of the products.
Loose cushions can optionally be added to the Tangāli Bench (Compact) for seating comfort and protection of the woven cane. The default colour for the cushion is the light cream 'Andaman Moon Beam', but it can also be ordered in any other colour from the cotton-linen blended Andaman fabric family.
