No. 11 Guest Suite Sofa (White)

This wide and comfortable white sofa with upholstery and cushions made with Barefoot fabrics was designed for the first floor guest suite at Bawa's Colombo home (No. 11, 33rd lane). The design of the legs and the shape of the sofa is different from a sofa of similar proportions found in the ground floor at No. 11.

The Phantom Hands’ re-edition is true to the dimensions and proportions of the original sofa at No. 11. The fabrics for the upholstery and cushions are sourced from Barefoot, with special unbleached fabrics to give the sofas the feel of the aged fabric seen at No. 11. The handloom fabrics from Barefoot were enhanced with a knit backing to give it more weight and robustness, giving it the quality required for contemporary upholstery usage.
