Unfolding Lamp (Special Edition in Wood)

The Unfolding Lamp was originally made in metal by Geoffrey Bawa, likely an adaptation of a paper lantern he acquired from the London department store, Harrods, in the 1960s. A version of the lamp in a clear finish is displayed in the guest suite at Number 11. A blue version resides on the front terrace at Lunuganga.

Phantom Hands has re-interpreted this lamp in wood as a special edition, with the delicately laser cut wooden panels hand stitched using embroidery techniques by our skilled artisans. The wooden special edition showcases the craftsmanship and material explorations of our R&D team.

The lamp comes with a 7W LED bulb and an e27 bulb holder.
